Armcon Precast supplies four-bar spacer options for square fence posts and dedicated options for slotted-post production.
02
Square fence posts
A single-cover spacer for square fence posts, providing a plastic link for four reinforcing bars. Its small arm and leg profile is designed to maintain minimal contact with the mould.
03
Slotted post production
A single-cover spacer for square slotted fence posts, providing a plastic link for four reinforcing bars. The small profile is designed to minimise contact with the post mould.
Spacer options designed to hold steel reinforcing strips during precast panel production, with two configurations available to support different panel requirements.
CRA3 and spacer products support specific preparation stages within a wider manufacturing process controlled by the precast producer’s approved design, casting and quality procedures.
The sequence below is a general overview only. Exact preparation, reinforcement, concrete, curing and demoulding requirements must be determined by the manufacturer’s competent technical team.
Confirm that the mould and liner are clean, correctly assembled and suitable for use before beginning the casting cycle.
Apply CRA3 to the polypropylene liner in accordance with the current product instructions, using the specified application method and an appropriate, controlled coating.
Use the spacer format specified for the post and reinforcement design to link and position the reinforcing bars before casting.
Place and compact concrete using the approved mix design, reinforcement arrangement and production procedure established for the finished product.
Follow the manufacturer’s documented curing method and do not demould until the product has achieved the required condition for safe handling.
Demould using the approved handling procedure, inspect the finished component and prepare the mould for its next scheduled production cycle.
This section is an illustrative overview and is not a production specification, structural design, method statement or safety instruction. Always follow the current product label, technical information and safety documentation supplied with CRA3. Spacer selection, reinforcement design, concrete specification, casting, curing, lifting and demoulding procedures must be confirmed by the precast manufacturer’s appropriately competent personnel.
